Baby Babble

This video is compiled by some clever SLP's who decided to try to help our learners focus on developing and attending to early speech sounds. The video shows engaging images while naming them, increasing object-name correspondence as a precursor to labelling. The video also shows adults pronouncing words and early speech sounds in an exaggerated way--drawing attention to the mouth. Simple sign language is used as well. My kids really liked the video, and it may help other kids who attend better to TV than real people. This video would be appropriate for the earliest learners or non-verbal kids with attention issues.
