Color Discrimination
Typical children are expected to acquire this skill around age 3 1/2, but if your learner is highly interested in shapes, colors and letters, don't hesitate to introduce them early. And no, it doesn't mean anything bad if your learner isn't interested in colors, shapes and letters. It just means that they are more like typical children in that regard.
