Trampoline

Trampolines are great stress reducers for our learners. They also serve as great reinforcers (e.g. If you finish this game you can go play for 5 minutes on the trampoline.) If you are able to bring your lesson aout thtthe trampoline and incorporate it into the jumping it will be even more motivating and effective. Here are some examples of skills that are easily taught on the trampoline.
  1. Counting

A great example of a repetitive skill that can be taught while bouncing. Just count as you go!

  2. Patterns

Try having your learner imitate you in a sequence of actions, such as jumping, then dropping, and so forth.

  3. Motor imitation

Do what I do! This is a great and fun place to work on imitation skills.

Keep in mind that many injuries can occur on trampolines. Some are caused by jumping with more than one person at a time. Others are caused by falling. Please consider a safety enclosure for your trampoline. We bought our system at Sam's Club at a super price.
