Description: In this book, a little old lady is accosted by clomping shoes, wiggling pants, a shaking shirt, clapping gloves, nodding hat, and a scary pumpkin head that goes “Boo.” The little old lady runs home and hears them knocking at her door. She informs them that they can’t scare her and all the objects get very sad, now that they haven’t got a job to do. Problem solving in her kindly way, she employs them all as her scarecrow.
